Happy Holidays!

Harvest

The holidays are a good time for visiting family, eating fabulous food, and taking a well-deserved break (or, erm, writing chapters, but I digress).  They’re also a good excuse to help others who might not be quite as fortunate — especially this year, given the current state of the economy.  If you can afford it, consider donating money or volunteering for a local food bank during the holiday season. Even if you can only give $5, it all adds up.

Or, if you prefer, check out Menu for Hope V.  It’s a charity raffle with some awesome prizes that benefits the school lunch program in Lesotho. Check the link for more details. There are food bloggers involved in this event from all over the world, and everyone can participate. So go check it out!  I think this ends Dec. 31, so act fast.

That’s all for now. Happy holidays, everyone, and have an amazing New Year!
