I’m not even going to pretend I remember quantities for this one… In fact, it’s not done. Tonight’s dinner: Teriyaki-inspired shrimp/kelp/mirin/soy broth used to make a (hopefully) delicious risotto with green peas, served with a simply grilled salt-and-pepper skate wing. All of this done while checking out the talks on ted.com (Bill Gates at the moment — sort of boring but relevant) and thinking about the fact that I really should be studying, doing taxes, or getting on that whole save the world thing. The plan for Sydney? Get involved in the community garden project and Slow Food Sydney to start. After that? Well… We’ll have to see what exactly this new continent has to offer.
